Software Engineer
Job Description:
The primary responsibility for this position relates to the routing software and its interaction with the other parts of the system. Integral to role will be the development, sustaining support and maintenance of software for an advanced flow router. The software is written mainly in C and C++ running on Linux and there are also several embedded systems. Essential Functions:
- Technical lead for the design and development of the routing functionality
- Strategically working with all members of engineering team
- Utilizing extensive knowledge of Multicast, IPv6 and Unicast
Required Job Qualifications:
- BS or, preferably, a MS in SE or EE, related field or equivalent experience required
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and debugging skills
- Extensive experience of C and/or C++ development
- Deep understanding of IP networking, routing and related protocols
- Experience of embedded software development and software that interacts closely with hardware
- Requires at least 5 years experience in software engineering in the network industry
Preferred Experience:
- Knowledge of IP Multicast, MPLS and IPv6 would be an advantage
Senior FPGA Design Engineer
Job Description:
The individual for this position will have a strong foundation in FPGA/ASIC design and have extensive networking experience including Network Protocols (e.g. TCP/IP), Ehternet 10/1000/10000, and High Speed Memory Interfactes (DDR2, FCRAM, DDR-3). A proven track record taking high level functional requirements and translating them into micro architecture will be valuable. Essential Functions:
- RTL coding using Verilog
- Xilinx ISE or Synopsys Design Compiler
- Modelsim or similar simulator(Synopsys VCS, Cadence NC-Verilog)
- Familiarity with SOC or EDK Development Flow
- Testbench and Testcases development
- Scripting (Perl, Tcl etc)
Required Job Qualifications:
- BS or, preferably, a MS in EE, related field or equivalent experience required
- Good Team Player and a self-starter
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Requires at least 7 years experience in FPGA/ASIC engineering in the networking industry

Hardware Engineer
Job Description:
An experienced hardware engineer to work on future development and ongoing engineering for a new type of flow-based network device will find this to be an opportunity to innovate as well as participate in the further creation of cutting edge technology. Essential Functions:
- Complete network equipment system level design flow from initial concepts to product test. These areas should include:
- Writing specifications
- Defining design rules
- Selecting components to be used
- CAD tool flow from schematic entry through board layout
- DFT (Design for Test) methodology
- DFM (Design for Manufacturability) methodology
- Design verification and test development
- Interfacing to outside sources for mechanical design, PCB layout, and contract manufacturing
- Familiarity with schematic capture details, preferably including Viewdraw
- High speed logic and interface design
Required Job Qualifications:
- BS or MS in CS, related field or equivalent experience required
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
- Successful engineering team member
- Requires at least 5 years related industry experience.

Production Test Engineer
Job Description:
As a member of the Operations group, the individual for this position will be responsible for the introduction and improvement of product quality through control of production test processes, procedures, and equipment. Working with the internal product design teams as well as the contract manufacturing management and technical staff is an integral aspect of the work. Essential Functions:
- Review hardware designs for production and test requirements
- Develop or refine board-level and box-level test routines
- Develop tooling and jigs for manufacturing test operations
- Review Contract Manufacturer procedures, controls, and yields
- Recommend process improvements for reliability, cost reduction
- Manage safety and industry compliance projects
- Perform site surveys of potential new CM partners
- Member of Material Review Board
- Write procedures, present persuasively
- Interact with suppliers for technical and quality issues
- Provide training on process, technical subjects
Required Job Qualifications:
- BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Six or more years experience in Manufacturing test operations
- Strong grasp of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Arena or Agile; Valor preferred
- Experience writing and refining Linux shell scripts
- Experience in JTAG test development
Preferred Experience:
- Knowledge of ISO9000, SPC, Six Sigma, other quality disciplines
- Strong grasp of UL/CSA, FCC, and NEBS compliance requirements

Systems Sales Engineer

This individual will help support sales activities in a pre and post-sales technical role serving both the VP of North American Sales and potential customers by managing the technical implementation process from requirements analysis through successful installation and acceptance. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys client interaction and working with merging technology. Essential Functions:
- Delivering technical presentations and product demonstrations to Major Customer Accounts and OEMS.
- Developing analytical solutions and implementing actions required to solve sales issues.
- Providing communication to Sales personnel and Management and escalating concerns when appropriate.
- Qualifying prospects based on technical assessment of customer requirements.
- Assisting in the roll-out of complex system integration projects.
